Purpose

Advent's purpose is to enable scientists to experiment, innovate and iterate with a wide range of metallic materials throughout the research process. Consequently it aims to provide as much choice as possible to the customer. In order to facilitate this, the primary objective of Advent’s is to continually expand the range of metals, alloys, forms, purities and sizes on offer. Since its entry to the market in the late 1980s the number of product lines available has increased fourfold.

We sell to over 85 countries around the globe and have a customer base ranging from world-leading universities and research institutes to advanced technology companies, both large and small.

Advent’s service is one of supply, not consultancy; however it recognises the need to understand its customer’s requirements. Chris Goodfellow possesses an Engineering Doctorate and a Masters Degree in Materials and Metallurgy, and will endeavour to provide assistance where possible.
