First published in 1987 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), an international agency composed of the national standards bodies of more than 160 countries, ISO 9001 specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS).
As a business, we have found that using this standard has helped to ensure our customer base remains highly satisfied with our level of service, and the quality of our products as well as continually improving our internal processes. We use the standard to demonstrate our ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements and in addition, undertake an annual audit to ensure these levels are consistently maintained.
